The town of Murrayville, with a population of
about 350, is situated on the Mallee Highway, 22 kilometres from the South
Australian Border. To the north of the town is the Murray Sunset National
Park and to the south the Big Desert State Park. To the east the small town
of Cowangie (population 5) you will find the award winning restored
Kow
Plains Homestead 1850's which is open to the public, the restored Bush
Nursing Cottage and Bakers Oven are other points of interest here. Further
east are the well known Pink Lakes. All this makes Murrayville the ideal
